Liverpool Win the Champion’s League!
A good summer for British football
This year there only English teams in the Champions League and Europa league finals!
The Europa league final was Arsenal Vs Chelsea. Chelsea win 4 – 1 in Baku Olympic Stadium in Azerbaijan.
The Champions League final was in Madrid. There was a penalty after twenty-five seconds! The penalty was against Tottenham’s Moussa Sissoko. That’s 1 – 0 for the Reds! Liverpool’s second goal was in the 89th minute. Liverpool are the winners!
Jordan Henderson, Liverpool’s captain, said: “It’s the best moment of my life.”

Hi! I am Nick and I am from Greece. I live in the sumbarbs of Athens in Metamorfossis and I am going in the 5th grade of primary school. I have watched the two finals and I like them too. The best final was the Tottenham - Liverpool. Now, Liverpool is going to playing in August, in the European Super Cup with Chelsea. I want to Liverpool win the Super Cup because it is my favourite team! My favourite sport is football. Love, Nick
