It’s a boy!

There’s a new member of the Royal Family

Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor has arrived! The royal baby, son of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, was born one month ago at 5.26 am on 6th May 2019.

Archie is seventh in line to the throne! Harry and Megan have made a surprising decision about his official title. Archie is allowed to be called the Earl of Dumbarton or Lord, but the proud parents have decided not to use a title. Do Harry and Meghan want their son to have a more ordinary life with less formality than his father?

The names chosen by the couple, who wed on 19 May 2018, are not traditional. Archie, sometimes short for ‘Archibald’ means ‘bold’ or ‘brave’. Harrison is a combination of ‘Harry’ and ‘son’.

Talking of the first few days of little Archie’s life Meghan said, “It’s magic, it’s pretty amazing. I have the two best guys in the world so I’m really happy.”

My name is Lena and Lena means impulsive. I like my name very much. Lena is my mum's idea and I'm really happy because my dad's idea was Liwia and for me it's a weird name. In my school popular girl name is Oliwia,Julia and Wiktoria but boy name is Kuba and Bartosz. For me Archie's name is ok but not original. I think it is good idea that his parents didn't give him a title. In this way he will have a normal life.
