- In 1989, a British scientist called Tim Berners-Lee had a problem.
- He wanted to share information with scientists from Switzerland … but it wasn’t easy.
- He had an amazing idea … he made the first website!
- Scientists used ‘The Web’ to share information!
Funny videos of cats … memes … online gaming … e-mails … the research for your history essay … they’re all on The Web! Today there are 2 billion websites … and 55.1% of people use the internet!
This year, the World Wide Web is thirty years old. For young people, life before The Web can be impossible to imagine!
Jeff Jaffe, CEO of the World Wide Web Consortium, made a statement last week: “there are very few [ideas] that have truly changed everything. The Web is the most [important invention] of our time.”

I use wikipedia to find information about my homework because it has a lot of topics.I also use google if I want to find something.The animal that makes a web is the spider.I think that Tim Berners-Lee used this word because it connects a lot of points.The letters ''www'' stand for World Wide Web.

I use the internet every day. I use Facebook and YouTube. I spend a lot of time on YouTube. I don't use the websites to do my homework because I don't need it. www means World Wide Web. Wikipedia is great source of information. I can't imagine my life without the internet.

I use internet 3/7 days for a week. My favourite websites are Netflix, Messenger and YouTube. Sometimes I use the net to do my homework, for example project or presentation. I can imagine my life without the internet but it will be so boring and it will make no sense. I am addicted to one TV series Riverdale. I watch it online all the time :) The internet is very useful and you can learn a lot of new things. ilysmV <3

I use a lot of websites for do my home work,but the site that I use more often is wikipedia,because in this website I find a lot of informetion about many diffrent subjects.The spiders are the only animal which can make a web and I think that Berners-Lee choose this word,because all the websites are conecting with each other and all together are like a web.The letters "www" are stand for World Wide Web.

I like the internet.It is very important part of my life.My favorite websites are facebook and youtube.I am on Instagram too. I follow girls and boys from Top Model TV program.I am addicted to the Internet. My parents and my grandparents surf the net everyday too. It is a normal thing.
