FOOTBALL WORLD CUP 2018!

The 2018 FIFA World Cup is on now! There are 32 countries from all over the world. There will be 64 matches in total in 12 different stadiums across Russia.

People are very excited about the tournament, who is going to win? It’s only week one but there has already been a lot of exciting action!

On Sunday, Mexico and Germany played. Germany were the champions in 2014, but Mexico beat Germany! (1-0)

Brazil and Switzerland also played yesterday. Brazil have won the World Cup five times, so everyone thought Brazil would win, but it was a draw! (1-1)

After all these surprises, it’s difficult to know who will be the winning team. But there are many animals all over the world, who are trying to see the future!

The animals choose their favourite teams before each game. Some animals are very good at guessing, but we still have to wait until the final on the 15th of July to know the winners!
