Here comes the bride!
Are you ready for the wedding of the year?
Who is getting married?
Prince Harry of England and Meghan Markle, an American actress will marry on the 19th of May, 2018.
Where is it?
It’s at Windsor Castle, Windsor, England. The wedding starts at 12:00pm and goes for an hour.
Who is going?
There will 600 guests inside the church and 2,460 people from the public in the castle garden. They will have sausage rolls and tea after the ceremony.
Around 100,000 royal-fans will also stand on the street outside the castle on the street to celebrate the happy couple. Some people have been waiting and sleeping on the street all week!
Harry’s family will attend the wedding. Prince William’s children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte are also going, but his new baby Prince Louis is staying at home.
Meghan’s dad is also NOT going to wedding! He is in America, but he is sick and can’t fly. So Prince Charles (Harry’s dad) will walk Meghan down the aisle.
Meghan is an American actress. She stars in a TV show called Suits. Some of the other actors from the TV are guests at the wedding!
How will England celebrate?
Many people have Royal Wedding Parties! There are also a lot of Royal Wedding souvenirs. Cups, posters, bags and some crazy things like this swimsuit with Harry and Meghan’s face!
But not everyone is happy about the Royal Wedding. The wedding is expensive for UK tax payers. Some sources say the wedding could cost up to £30 million pounds! A lot of the money is spent on extra security, but Meghan’s dress costs £300,000 and around £110,000 for flowers.
