This weekend in England, there is a Royal Wedding!
Who is getting married?
It’s Prince Harry of England and Meghan Markle, an American actress.
Where is it?
It’s at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, Windsor, England. The wedding starts at 12:00pm and finishes at 1:00pm.
Who is going?
There are 600 people inside the church and 2,460 people are in the castle garden. But 100,000 Royal-fans are outside the castle on the street to wait and say “congratulations” to Harry and Meghan.
Harry’s family is at the wedding. The Queen, his dad Prince Charles and his brother William. Prince William’s children Prince George and Princess Charlotte are at the wedding, but his new baby Prince Louis is at home!
Meghan’s dad is also NOT at the wedding! He is in America, but he is sick and can’t go on a plane.
Meghan is an American actress. She is in a TV show called Suits. Some of the other actors from the TV are guests at the wedding!
Is England excited?
Yes! Many people have Royal Wedding Parties! There are also a lot of Royal Wedding souvenirs. Cups, posters and some crazy things like this swimsuit with Harry and Meghan’s face! Do you want one?
