“No more guns!”

Florence Yared goes to school at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
One month ago, on Valentine’s Day something shocking happened.
A nineteen-year old boy came to school with guns. His name is Nikolas Cruz. He killed 17 people.
Florence and her friends are okay. But they feel scared. “Will it happen again?” they ask.
Many people in America have guns at home. There are thousands of gun stores. You can buy a gun when you are 18.
In the last six years, 7,000 children were killed by gun violence in America. Florence and her friends are angry. They want new laws. On the 14th of March, lessons stopped in 3,000 American schools. Thousands of students walked out of their classrooms.
They shouted for 17 minutes, one minute for each of the 17 who died.
“No more guns!” they shouted.

Ι wouldn't like to go to school in U.S. why all people carry guns.In my country people carry guns but I have never these people.The people must carry guns at the age of 18 WHEN THERE IS WORN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't like to go to school in U.S. I live In Poland and I love Poland. I like my town and I like my school. Only Police officers and soldiers can carry a gun. There aren't any gun shops in Poland. My school is very big but I feel safe. Ordinary people shouldn't carry a gun. It is dangerous.

I would not like to go to a school in the USA, because I would feel very scared and not safe. I think that buying guns at the age of 18 is crazy. What is crazier is that you cannot drink alcohol at this age in the US but you can buy a gun. My teacher told me that Donald Tramp wants the teachers to have guns at school to protect the students, which is a stupid idea. I think the best idea is not to sell guns to anyone. In Greece where I live you cannot have a gun or buy a gun from a shop. The only people that can carry a gun are the police. AT NO AGE!!! I HATE GUNS!!!!!

I would like to go to the USA with my friend for a month every year. I wouldn't like to go to American school because American people can have a gun and I feel scared. Only people in the police and army are allowed to have gun in Poland. I think only people who have special permission can have a gun. It is too dangerous for everyone to have a gun. This story in Florida is shocking and I understand young people in America who are afraid.

I wouldn't like to go to school in U.S. because the people can carry guns. In our country can carry gun person above 18 years, with arms passport.
