My teacher code does not work

A teacher code is different to a password. If you are starting an account for the first time, enter only your email address and tick the box to say ‘I’m new’. You enter your teacher code on the next page. You choose a password later.

I can’t log in to my account

Are you logging in with the correct email address? Maybe you registered with a different email address.

Check you have the right password. This is the password you chose when you registered. (It is NOT a teacher code or student code).

I’ve forgotten my password

You can request a new password here.
After you have made the request, also check your junk email box, sometimes new passwords arrive there.

I can’t find my teacher code

All teachers who subscribe to a magazine receive a teacher code.

The teacher code is on the teacher’s notes.

I have a new code but I started an account last year

If you have received a new teacher code and you already have an account on Mary Glasgow Plus, you need to log in to the old account and add the code on My Page.

Can my students access the student site without a magazines subscription?

No. For students, the website and the magazines are one package. You cannot subscribe to one without the other.

Can I access the teacher part of the website without a magazines subscription?

Yes. Teachers can register on the teachers site and download 5 resources for free. After that, teachers can pay £20 to access the site for one year and download all the resources they want.

Is it possible to subscribe online without a credit / debit card?

At the moment, we only accept payment by credit or debit card.

I have paid the £20 online subscription. What do I need to do next?

Log in to your original account and you will see that you are now able to download all the resources you want.

What computer equipment do I need to use Magazines Plus?

You need any desktop or laptop computer (PC or Mac) with an internet browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Safari). You also need an internet connection. This site will work using a dial-up connection, however a broadband connection will make it easier to download audio and watch videos.

How do I play videos in MP4 format?

When you download videos from this website they are in MP4 format.
To play MP4 videos you can use QuickTime Player or iTunes. Both of these programs are available to download for free.

What are the prices of your magazines?

Prices vary depending on your currency and how many magazines you order. You can find the details here by selecting the magazines you want and then your country.

Go to this page, choose the level of the reader, then choose the reader you are interested in. You can download the resources from the reader’s page.
